For bank and credit union operations

Procedure answers

Two employees. One policy. Two answers.

It is Monday morning. Two employees answer the same question differently. Before staff rely on either answer, decide which version controls and which questions must stay unanswered.

Two to four weeks. One workflow. You keep the file.

The decision

Which answer can the team use?

Agree which source and version control, which questions the approved set can answer, and which gaps need a person. The named reviewer decides whether the answers are acceptable for the agreed workflow.

This fits banks and credit unions. Start with the procedure that causes repeated questions, rather than the entire institution.

The file you keep

In four weeks: the approved set, its gaps, and an owner.

  • A source register: the controlling versions, permission references and owners.
  • The agreed test questions and the answers reviewed against those sources.
  • An issue log: conflicting versions, unsupported answers and questions that stay unanswered.
  • A named reviewer and the person who owns each fix.

A one-page decision points to the file behind it. Missing answers stay visible.

One workflow, four steps

Agree the boundary. Leave the file.

  1. Agree the boundary

Choose the recurring questions, the team that uses the procedure and the person accountable for the decision.

  2. Prepare the sources

Use only sources the institution is allowed to share. Record their versions, owners and the approved route for using them.

  3. Review the answers

The named reviewer checks the agreed questions against the controlling sources. Record conflicts, unanswered questions and the fixes still needed.

  4. Leave the file

Keep the sources, questions, review records and issue log together. Name who maintains the file when a procedure changes.

See how the source review works.

Use a public example to inspect the method before sharing institutional sources. The source tool prepares supplied material and review questions; it does not establish that a policy answer is correct.

We do not connect to a core, certify compliance or give a legal opinion. This is not a member-facing chatbot rollout or a model we host. An engagement uses only sources the institution is allowed to share.

Bring the procedure that breaks on Monday.

In a twenty-minute scope call, identify the workflow, the sources you may share and the person who can review the result.

Scope and fee are fixed in writing after one working session.
