Browser calculator privacy

Effective October 1, 2026. This notice describes the Vendor Compare browser calculator included on this website. Questions can be sent to steve@ambaassador.com.

Your comparison and renewal review stay on your device

Files are read locally and calculations run in your browser. Calculator code does not upload quote files or terms, send them to an AI model, store them in an application database or add them to persistent browser storage. Inputs remain in memory until you reload or close the page.

Downloads and reports

JSON inputs, draft files and HTML reports are saved wherever your browser stores downloads. A report contains the supplied terms and source references. Protect these files and delete them on your device when no longer needed.

Website delivery

Your browser requests the calculator's HTML, JavaScript and styles from the website host. The host may process ordinary delivery metadata, including IP addresses and request details. Those infrastructure records are governed by the host's policies. This calculator bundle contains no advertising or analytics code and does not submit comparison data with asset requests.

Using an AI assistant separately

If you share terms with an AI assistant to prepare JSON, that provider processes the information under its own policies. Sharing information in that assistant is a separate action; the browser calculator does not perform it for you. A separately hosted private connector is not included in this static calculator.

What to include

Use only fee terms and evidence references needed for the comparison. Do not include passwords, tokens, bank account numbers, government identifiers or personal customer records. Confirm that you are authorized to use any source documents.

Support correspondence

Information you send by email is separate from the local calculator. Use a fictional or redacted reproduction when requesting help. Deleting local downloads or AI conversation history requires the relevant device or provider controls.

Renewal packets

Renewal terms, clause text, source references and supplied owner/contact details follow the same local processing and download behavior. Include only information needed for the review. HTML and ICS exports contain supplied evidence and dates; calendar providers process files you separately import under their own policies. The application sends no notices and configures no active reminders.

Quote-change packets

The earlier and revised comparison, their labels, sources and declared gaps are processed locally under the same rules. A paired JSON packet or HTML review contains both versions. Protect these downloads. The application does not upload either version or keep a saved history.
